Therapy is one of the most valuable measures of self-care one can take to live a well-balanced life. I am honored to support my clients as they navigate rocky or unfamiliar waters during periods of adjustment, anxiety and depression. These seasons of our lives can feel unsettling and cause us to feel “stuck” in an unpleasant place. Fortunately, they also present us with the opportunity for growth toward a more rewarding life. Unveiling anxiety, depression, unsettling thoughts, insecurities, trauma and disappointment requires courage- I commend you for taking this first step!

Seeking therapy is often the result of feeling hopeless or without support during times of personal stress. In the therapy room, my clients feel compassion and reassurance that they are in a nonjudgmental, supportive environment.

I am a postpartum support professional with a passion for working with women and their families as they navigate infertility, difficult pregnancies, pregnancy loss, child loss, birth trauma and perinatal mood disorders. The path to parenthood is not always as expected. At times this unpredictable journey requires us to create a new vision for our family, home, marriage and future plans. In the presence of compassion and careful reflection, you will find growth and strength.

I believe that parents have one of the most challenging and under-appreciated jobs on the planet! While it is difficult, it isn’t impossible. Understanding the complicated development of children allows me to provide my clients with insight into proper sleep hygiene, function of behavior and development of emotional intelligence.

The therapy room is where we find comfort and experience personal growth when life is disrupted during times of transition, or in the presence of clinical disorders.

In addition to working with women and families in the perinatal period, I value working with young adult women as they develop a sense of self and begin to imagine their future selves. Personal and societal pressures can result in the development of insecurities during this pivotal time. With special focus on understanding the connection between emotions, thoughts and behaviors, my clients are able to move to a more confident place. Practical, solution-focused, work allows my clients to participate fully in the therapy process and experience the rewards of their efforts.

I support each and every client as they discover the ability to show grace toward themselves and make a commitment to achieving the future that they have imagined.

When not in the therapy room, I enjoy adventures with my husband and children, exercising, tackling projects around the house and working toward achieving my next personal challenge!
